The District is looking to hire a professional, hard-working and resourceful person to join our team as an Irrigation Operations Worker. People in this position work during the irrigation season delivering water to farmers in western Yolo County. During the non-irrigation season, people in this position work to maintain and improve the District’s canal system by replacing irrigation gates, catwalks, and other structures. Starting pay for this position is $25.52 to $28.87, based upon experience, skills, and abilities.

2025 Irrigation Season Coming to a Close
District management plans on ceasing water releases for irrigation on Friday, October 10th, so water customers should please plan their final irrigations of the 2025 season accordingly. As always, District staff has been proud to serve our community of water customers and we hope that 2025 has been a fruitful growing season.
