The District is currently looking for a hardworking, professional and resourceful person to join our team as an Irrigation Operations Worker. People in this position work during the irrigation season delivering water to farmers in Western Yolo County. During the non-irrigation season, people in this position work to maintain and improve the District’s canal system by replacing irrigation gates, catwalks, and other structures. The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience construction, operating heavy equipment such as front loaders, backhoes, and excavators, and/or knowledge and skill in welding. A valid California drivers license is required, and possessing a Class A license is a plus.

Starting pay for this position is $23.13 to $28.82 based upon experience, skills, and abilities.

Indian Valley campground and boat ramp is closed for the season on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. We anticipate reopening the recreational facilities in early-to-mid April, depending on the weather.
